This training equips clinicians with practical strategies for integrating resources of faith into play therapy and psychotherapy across the lifespan. Participants will learn how to incorporate faith-based interventions to support emotional expression, trauma processing, grief work, and self-esteem development. The workshop includes demonstration of play-based interventions and application of faith-integrated strategies through case examples and experiential learning. Clinicians will leave with practical tools to integrate resources of faith into clinical work in ways that support healing and resilience.

Learning Objectives

1. Describe ethical considerations for integrating resources of faith into psychotherapy. 

2. Identify developmentally appropriate practices of faith that can be incorporated into therapeutic work with children, adolescents, and adults. 

3. Demonstrate faith-integrated interventions that support emotional regulation, grief, trauma processing, or self-esteem. 

4. Apply faith-integrated interventions to clinical case examples across modalities, including play therapy, CBT, and EMDR. 

5. Explain how resources of faith can support emotional expression, meaning-making, and healing.
