Madison Villanueva, M.S., is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor. During her graduate education, she gained experience working with children, adolescents and adults in both a non-profit and school setting. Madison earned her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Texas at Arlington and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Tarleton State University.
Working from a gestalt approach, Madison strives to keep clients in the here and now. She believes deepening the awareness of the connection between one’s mind, body, and environment in the present moment leads to greater well-being. In addition to gestalt therapy techniques, Madison uses a number of other approaches best suited for each individual client such as, mindfulness, art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy and EMDR therapy. Madison works collaboratively with clients during sessions, empowering them to find their own solutions, as they are experts of their own lives.
