Jacob Gordon, B.A.A.S., is a licensed fourth through eighth-grade educator specializing in science and outdoor education as well as a Texas Parks and Wildlife Instructor for hunter safety certification, angler certification, boater safety certification, and National Archery in Schools (NASP) certification. He is certified in wilderness first aid and land navigation through National Outdoor Leadership Schools (NOLS) as well. Jacob earned his Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences from The University of North Texas.
Spending years working in the outdoor education field working in non-profit organizations and school environments, Jacob has learned valuable skills and practical knowledge that he enjoys sharing with others. As an educator, Jacob focuses on experiential activities and real world applications. His facilitation of outdoor education has provided hundreds of participants the ability to learn real outdoor skills and earn certifications through Texas Parks and Wildlife. It is his hope that people of all ages gain the ability to find themselves through nature.
